The sound engineers working on this project use Smaart Live to do their time alignment. Starting with the main PA line array, these are aligned at the control centre, which is, in this case, the mix position. After that the alignment will be done for the sub array – remaining aware that any EQ will affect the time alignment too. The method of carrying out the time alignment is discussed, not forgetting to adjust levels as well for the front fills compared to the main PA hangs. The same applies to the delay towers. Real time adjustments need to be made constantly, especially as evening falls and humidity and temperature changes significantly.
